Nice but quite the energy pig for a web wrapper
Let me get out of the way that I do love what MeisterTask does as a service. It works really well and has been able to meet my needs, especially on the iOS app, for making me more productive and aware of my time.
However, do we really need another web wrapper instead of a proper native app? Somehow this app consumes enough energy to be listed on the “Apps Using Significant Energy” chart, and requires the high performance graphics card in laptops that still do card switching. How is this possible? It’s literally a webpage wrapped in a fancy window. Sometimes the reason people switch back to the included Apple apps is because they know how to consume minimal amounts of energy and still function well.
